Holy Grail

This is awesome for baking and great for the under eyes, not drying at all. Can leave a white cast but still unsure if that's due to my concealer combo. Great otherwise.

Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder

Good for oily skin, matt & give the foundation more lasting staying power. Just dust over lightly, too much will cake your face & foundation. The powder are quite finely milled. Though costly but still worth the price.

Makeup level up

This is my first time using this sort of loose setting powder (I used to use a powder two way cake) so I can't compare it to other similar products. But so far it's making my makeup look a lot better than before. Of course, it does mattify the makeup but it still looks natural!

good for baking

after finishes make up for ever setting powder, undecide between Laura mercier and Kat von d. decided to give this brand a try during sales. good for baking. my makeup does last 7 hours without need of touch up, just use oil blotting paper to remove shine on t zone. thumb up!

Works well

I find that this powder leaves a shine to my face, so I tend to use this to set my foundation (as it does that really well) and the use a coloured powder over the top to take away the shine I feel I am left with. I still use this everyday to set my foundation, as I find it works better than my other powder alone, so it does as you expect. I like a very matte finish to my makeup, but if you like a little shine, I think you will love this.

Extremely messy

It is extremely messy to work with, the holes on the pan is quite big and powder comes on top relatively easy and it is difficult to get it back down. When I dip my brush in, it picked up too much product and it is extremely wasteful to just tap it away. This ain't my first loose powder I own. Powder ain't as smooth as Make Up For Ever HD powder. But I must say it is very mattifying. But will not repurchase.

super mattifying

This powder is the first one I'm using to try 'baking' my under eye area! It feels very silly to the touch and sets my under eye area well. It doesn't smoothen out the area as much as I would like but that might just be down to needing more practice. I used it on a rainy day as an all over setting powder and it kept my t zone super matte all night long!!

Product that lives up to its name

The powder is really finely milled and did not make my skin look cakey. It leaves a natural finish on my skin and certainly "lock" my makeup in place. I only used oil blotter on my face throughout the day and no touchup was required.

Great for "baking"

I use this to set my foundation and for "baking" my undereye concealer. I freaking love this powder. It is so so so finely milled that I don't have to worry about it clumping or caking my undereyes. I was initially hesitant about buying because KVD has a tendency to be quite thick and all about that full coverage. I'm surprised that the powder does settle into the skin and creates a veil as opposed to a freaking mask on top of my foundation!

Set it and Forget it

I love this powder so much. No flashback or cakeyness when I use this to set my foundation and it is so good to use for baking. I would recommend to those who want a nice set base without the cake look or too powdery look. Such an amazing powder and I will repurchase
