Buttercup - Had high hopes for this one :(

I was shiny in 2hrs! i had hoped this would be comparable to hourglass's immaculate liquid powder foundation... but not only was i OILY in a couple of hours, it also oxidized and turned slightly orange :( granted i do not like setting my face with powder, but that's why i got this matte foundation to begin with, so i can skip the powder. those with less oily skin types may like this. maybe if i got Nude instead of buttercup, it would be a better shade match when it finally sets onto my skin... and use a mattifying primer and a good setting powder.

Buff - drying

if you have very very oily skin this will work for you. but for me who has combination skin this makes my face looks patchy and cakey. if you are a MAC NC30 then Becca - Nude will be perfect anything below this like Buttercup or Buff will be too ashy. This foundation is a matte finish and if you are exfoliating or even the micro-exfoliation it will really totally show with this. I tried to mix it with a dewy liquid foundation so that this Becca won't go to waste but it doesn't work well with mixing with other brand. And by the way this transfers, i just used a light touch on my face with tissue since I am oiling up, and to my surprise its like all my foundation was peeled off. I tried applying this foundation in thin layer but it won't give the result I like since i am after a full coverage. it is a full coverage but too drying for me.

Buttercup - Best for oily skin

If you have oily skin, this foundation is what you'll need. It's got a matte finish with full coverage and it has good oil control. This foundation dries down pretty quickly so if you have dry patches, make sure to moisturize well otherwise this foundation will definitely cling on to those. You'll also need to work fast with this foundation so I suggest applying in sections so that you can work the foundation into your skin beautifully. Once on, this foundation stays put and I am a big fan of it!

Nude - my favorite matte foundation

I've been using this for a couple of months now and this has been my go-to foundation since I live in a country with a hot and humid climate. This is lightweight and lasts for hours. It has medium coverage which I actually prefer for my everyday make-up. I also used their website to find my shade and found the perfect one for me.

Shell - Not for me

This foundation didn't personally work for me. Even with a primer it settles into the pores are my nose and looks horrible. It didn't keep me matte though I'm extremely oily and nothing does. I threw mine out. Wouldn't buy again or recommend to anyone.

Buttercup - too light for NC25-30

this is the problem with online purchase of foundations, finding the right shade. It is my fault i was not aware that skin tone also changes with the change in season. for my skin tone Nude is a better choice. buttercup is a little yellow. the foundation dries fast into matte so spread as soon as you dot your face. i prefer beauty blender cause it is easier to spread than my RT expert brush. i think when it comes to thick foundation it is better to trust a wet beauty blender and ever matte is a thick formula. my complain is it emphasizes the dryness of my skin. and later in the day when i blot my face so much has already transferred off. not repurchasing this

Cashmere - Cashmere - MAC nc 20-25

Let's start off with the color, it was super easy to find a shade that suited my olive yellow-ish skin. It has medium coverage but buildable. Great oil control that didn't break me out. My t zone is usually oily (especially my nose) and this foundation did an excellent job controlling it. However, make sure to apply it in sections because it does dry out as you apply. Also, make sure to properly moisturize your skin before you apply it (gel oil-free moisturizer - oily skin still needs moisture!). Last but not least, I love love love how hygienic the packaging is.

Cashmere - So-so

The shade Cashmere perfectly matches my skin tone. Coverage is a good medium and it lasts until I get home. I do notice my T-zone getting shiny by then, but it's not too bad. I have oily/combination skin. The downside of this is when my skin isn't so good, it emphasizes every little flaw and dry patches. I don't use it very often for that reason. I like it, but I probably wouldn't repurchase.

Sand - Not totall oil free

This foundation is okay. However, it doesn't amaze me. For the price I rooted it to make me matte for atleast 2 hours. If you have really oily skin, this will not make wonders for you. It still made me look oily and it sat quite funny on my skin. The consistency might fool you into thinking it has great coverage. It's quite thick, but when you blend it in, it's quite sheer. I will never purchase again. I'd probably pass this to someone else because I never reached for anyway.

Buttercup - really mate, best if used with a good primer

For me this product is light to medium coverage, if u got blemishes you will be still needing a concealer coz this wont cover it;still be very obvious. This really suits for oily skin. On my experience with this after 4-5hours i really do get oily but thats fine, better than 2hours on other foundation. So, i will really recommend this for those who are oily and with very minimal blemishes.
