Pure Violet - No typical silicone finish

I bought this as my first intro to color correcting. I chose the purple primer because I have yellow undertones and hoped that it can counterbalance the 'yellowness'. As a primer it doesn't necessarily blur the pores, but I guess that wasn't the intention of this product. I didn't notice too much of a difference in my skin tone after applying foundation/BB cream though. So for me I think this is a so-so primer. On the plus side this primer does not dry down too 'siliconey' like some other primers. Didn't break me out too.

Ice Vanilla - Vanilla

Wrong color, perhaps. Trapped myself into buying it during a huge Sale on this. Bought the wrong shade. Vanilla should be for fair skin colored ladies. A bit "wet" or watery. But I still make use of it as an eyeshadow primer and face primer to offset the darker contoured area of my cheeks. Better make it work instead of tossing it.

Pure Violet - not bad

it is pretty good and I only have to use a little bit all over to face. Coverage is great and it does give you an illuminating glow. Perfect for a matte or any other foundation. i apply just a few drops and it makes my skin glow and even out the complexion.

Pure Violet - Meh

i was looking forward to using this but, it made my skin so oily... and the scent is rather flowery so, and only seem to go away after awhile. i've only used it twice and stopped using it. perhaps it just doesnt work on me, although i very much want it to!

Ice Vanilla - Perfect Primer

I was a bit spectacle about using the brand 3CE as I've never tried anything like it before, but I thought I'd give it a go after hearing many great reviews about it. And I was definitely quite surprised at how well the product is. The primer applies to the face in a yellow tone, however blends in with the skin tone, leaving a very soft and radiant look. It is a great base for makeup, ensuring that foundation applies smoothly and can also be worn alone.

Pure Violet - Okay

This primer is okay. Did not notice a huge difference in wear of foundation longevity. It is not suitable for darker skin tones as it makes you look ashy and washed out. It also makes blending your foundation out a bit harder as it feels drying on the skin. Would recommend for oily or fair skin tones.

Pure Violet - Not bad

This primer managed to brighten up my skin tone really well, although it could end up making my skin too white. Overall, manages to blur out my pores rather well even when used on its own. Would consider repurchasing!

Pure Violet - Not bad

In love with the color correction, it makes my skin a tad brighter, which I love as I am quite tanned. It also goes on quite smoothly and dries really quick.  However there is not much of an oily controlling ability, so it might not bond well for combination / oily skin situations.

Pure Violet - Lovely product!

I honestly can't see my face brightening up visibly when I use the primer, but I must say it provides great oil-control when used under my bb cream. My bb cream stays on longer as well. Having purchased the violet primer, I think I'd love to try mild peach the next time to see what difference it does to my skin. I'd recommend this nevertheless.

Pure Violet - Pure Violet - Good but Not HG

I have seen amazing reviews about this primer and because of that I had incredibly high expectations - I thought this was going to be my HG primer. I smooth it onto my skin using my fingertips and then use a damp beauty blender to blend it in. It feels really nice on the skin and dries down to a nice natural finish with a subtle brightening effect. The problem that I have with it (maybe I am just applying it wrong) as I find that it can be quite unforgiving if I make a mistake applying concealer or foundation on top of it - if I rub at the skin a bit once the primer has dried it kind of flakes off a bit and gets patchy. It is great for those days when you just want to throw on a light powder and leave the house, but for me it's not as good under a more full coverage foundation/concealer when I might want to touch up.
